In a bizarre video that went viral online, a brawl broke out between two groups on top of amusement ride.  The incident occurred in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh where a violent fight broke out between two groups at a fair in Amroha district over tickets. The viral videos of the incident showed young men exchanging blows on top of an amusement ride at the fair. A video showed chaotic scenes at the fair as the men threw kicks and punches at each other on top of the ride while others can be seen climbing the iron railing and scaling the carnival ride. Chaos reigned at the fair for a while after the fight as cops arrived at the scene, sending the miscreants running as they attempted to flee the spot. Due to the violence, the owner decided to halt the operation of the amusement ride until things cooled down, reports said. KARACHI: Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab has decided to conduct ‘safety audit’ of all major buildings across the city after nearly a dozen people were killed in a massive fire at a RJ Shopping Mall at Rashid Minhas Road, ARY News reported on Monday. DHAKA: Bangladesh cricket superstar Shakib Al Hasan has formally entered politics and will contest parliamentary elections as he received confirmation of his nomination from the ruling Awami League. According to a report, Awami League joint secretary general Bahauddin Nasim confirmed the development, saying that the all-rounder took nomination forms on Saturday from the party to contest 2024 election. Shakib Al Hasan will be contesting from the Magura-1 constituency, his home district, with the polls scheduled for January 7. “He is a celebrity and has great popularity among the country’s youth,” Nasim said, welcoming the cricket all-rounder. More aid delivered into Gaza on first day of truce: UN

The United Nations was able to scale up delivery of humanitarian assistance into and across bombed-out Gaza during the humanitarian pause that went into effect on Friday following an agreement reached this week between Israel and Hamas. Gaza has a population of over two million, with the UN agency that assists Palestine refugees, UNRWA, hosting more than a million displaced people in 156 of its installations across the enclave. The UN humanitarian affairs office, OCHA, said on Friday that 200 trucks were dispatched from Nitzana, a town in Israel, to the Rafah crossing between Egypt and the Gaza Strip. From there, 137 trucks of goods were offloaded by the UNRWA reception point in Gaza, making it the biggest humanitarian convoy received since the start of hostilities on 7 October, it said. KARACHI: The murder mystery of biomechanical engineer Sohaib Nisar has been solved by Karachi police, ARY News reported.  Sohaib Nisar, the only son of his parents was shot dead in Sachal Scheme 33 area of Karachi. A possible meteor has caused a flash of light followed by a loud boom in Bemidji city of Minnesota – United States (US) which was caught on camera. Beltrami County Emergency Management said numerous reports came in from Bemidji and the surrounding area about 6:30 p.m. Monday of a bright flash of light and a loud boom that rattled the windows and walls of homes. The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office checked local power stations and transformers for any sign of an explosion, but everything seemed to be working normally, according to the foreign media reports.
