The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Sunday announced free entry for the Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier games at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium. The matches are scheduled to begin on April 9, with Pakistan playing their first game against Ireland. Ahead of the beginning of the event, the Pakistan Cricket Board has opened the venue for free to the fans, as per a statement by the PCB. As per the schedule, Gaddafi Stadium will host a total of eight matches during the Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifying Round. Following the opening game, the second game at Gaddafi Stadium will be between Ireland and the West Indies on April 11, while the third match will be between Bangladesh and Ireland on April 13. LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan has announced a nationwide protest on April 11 against the ongoing killing of Palestinians and Israel’s aggression in Gaza, ARY News reported on Sunday. A viral video showing a Harris’ hawk terrorising an English village has led to its capture after it was blamed for over 50 dive-bombing attacks on unsuspecting locals. The aggressive bird had become a nuisance , drawing blood in some cases and even causing disruptions to Royal Mail services. Steve Harris, a local resident, was the one who eventually trapped the hawk, after the bird had chased him during his daily runs. The dramatic moment, captured in another viral video, shows Harris successfully trapping the hawk in a cage after it landed on his shed. The capture brought relief to the village, where children had been kept indoors due to the bird’s aggressive behaviour. Falconer Alan Greenhalgh, who assisted in taming the viral hawk, suggested the bird’s aggression could be linked to hormonal changes. Hamas released a video on Saturday showing two Israeli hostages alive in Gaza, speaking to the camera and describing how they had survived an alleged Israeli strike. The Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades released the more than two-minute clip, in which one of the two men appears with his right cheek and right hand bandaged. RAWALPINDI: Security forces killed two khwarij in an intelligence based operation (IBO) in the Kech district of Balochistan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Friday. “On 4 April 2025, security forces conducted an intelligence based operation in general area Buleda, Kech District, on reported presence of terrorists,” the military’s media wing said in a statement.
