Saudi Arabia arrests 16,696 illegals in one week

China to pilot eVTOL aircraft services in six cities

China will start piloting electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft services in six cities in an effort to better capitalise on the possibilities of the low-altitude economy, local media reported. KARACHI: The dairy farmers in Karachi hinted at increasing milk price due to the administration’s double tax collection on dairy animals, ARY News reported. According to The dairy farmers, the administration has started collecting double tax on dairy animals. They said that the administration has fee increased the tax by Rs 100 to Rs700 per animal in Gadap Town, Super Highway and other areas. Petrol price announced for next fortnight

ISLAMABAD: The federal government on Friday announced prices of petroleum products for the next fortnight, maintaining the existing rates till November 30 across Pakistan, ARY News reported. As per the notification, the price of petrol remained unchanged at Rs248.38 per litre. The High-speed diesel prices stayed at Rs 255.14 per litre. The prices of light diesel and Kerosene oil also remain unchanged. PPP sweeps Karachi local government by-elections

KARACHI: The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) won 10 of 11 seats in the Karachi local government by-elections  as per the unofficial and unannounced results. According to details, the PPP managed to clinch total 10 seats including four chairmen as many councilors and and one vice chairman. The PPP also secured one seat in the cantonment board The PPP aspirants emerged victorious from Liaquatabad, Malir, Clifton and Model Colony Landhi, Baldia Town, Ibrahim Hyderi, Landhi and Korangi Cantonment Boards. Meanwhile, the Jamaat-e-Islami secured one vice-chairman and one councilor seat. The Hafiz Naeemur Rehman-led party clinched the vice chairman seat from Gulberg a ward councilor seat from Manghopir. Khawaja Asif files complaint with London police over ‘murder threat’

LONDON: Defence Minister Khawaja Asif on Thursday lodged report with London police following an incident of alleged harassment, verbal abuse and knife attack threats. The defence minister informed the London police about the ‘murder threats with a knife’ and the harassment he faced during the train incident. Khawaja Asif said the unfortunate incident occurred on 11th November around 3:30 PM on the Elizabeth Line. “I am in London on a private visit with a relative, and I was traveling to Reading via the Elizabeth Line,” he added. He told that a group of three to four individuals harassed him on the train, filmed him without permission, used abusive language, and threatened him with a knife. The London Transport Police is investigating the matter Khawaja Asif said he did not recognise any of the individuals involved in the incident.
