Israeli strikes kill at least 29 Gazans awaiting aid

At least 29 Palestinians were killed while awaiting aid in two separate Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip on Thursday, Gaza’s health ministry said. In the first incident, Palestinian health officials in the Hamas-ruled strip said eight people were killed in an airstrike on an aid distribution centre in Al-Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip. Later, at least 21 people were killed and more than 150 wounded by Israeli gunfire at a crowd awaiting aid trucks at a northern Gaza roundabout, Gaza’s health ministry said. In a statement, Israel’s military denied attacking aid centres, describing the reports as “false.” “As the IDF assesses the incident with the thoroughness that it deserves, we urge the media to do the same and only rely on credible information,” the statement said. Ayaan, Anabiya case: Court orders putting siblings, aunt names on ECL

KARACHI: A judicial magistrate in Karachi on Thursday ordered the inclusion of two siblings Ayaan and Anabiya, who were found after going missing from Karachi’s North Nazimabad area, and their maternal aunt’s names on the Exit Control List (ECL), ARY News reported. In its written order, the magistrate ruled that the minors’ aunt Farheen, aka Sonia, could not take the children outside the jurisdiction of the police station. The judicial magistrate central also handed over the custody of the two siblings Ayaan and Anabiya to their aunt. PESHAWAR: A CCTV footage showing clumsy robbers’ attempt to snatch valuables from women in Peshawar’s Gulbahar area emerged on Wednesday. The CCTV footage shows the moment when the robbers walked up to the women on a street and tried to snatch their valuables, including cellphones. However, the women instantly reacted and moved away from the suspects. Meanwhile, the robbers, apparently nervous, dropped the idea of robbing the women and ran away – one on the motorcycle and the other on foot. Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has allocated a number of gates at the Grand Mosque in Makkah to receive pilgrims, coinciding with the beginning of the blessed month of Ramadan, which witnesses the peak annual Umrah season. The new arrangements were made in coordination with government agencies operating within the Grand Mosque. Women, children among nine injured in road accident

HYDERABAD: A passenger-carrying vehicle met with an accident near Hyderabad’s Zeal Pak Colony area, leaving nine individuals Injured, ARY News reported on Monday. According to the rescue officials, a van carrying passengers collided with a pole, leaving nine passengers – including three children and five women – injured. The rescue officials rushed the injured passengers to the nearest hospital where the condition of four out of nine injured was said to be critical. Saudi Arabia announces relief package for rain-hit Gwadar

ISLAMABAD: Saudi Arabia has announced relief package for calamity-hit Gwadar as at five people were killed and hundreds of houses damaged due to torrential rains in the port city. According to details, Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador Nawaf Bin Saeed Ahmad Al Maliky visited Balochistan and pledged humanitarian measures for the residents of Gwadar. “We will help our Pakistani brothers in this difficult time,” the ambassador stated after meeting with Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti.
