A total of 12 teams have been confirmed for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 after the Super 8 stage of the ongoing marquee tournament was finalised. The T20 World Cup 2026 will follow the same format as the ongoing edition, featuring 20 teams, divided into four groups of five. The top two teams from each group will then qualify for the semi-finals. After Bangladesh emerged victorious over Nepal in a low-scoring thriller and advanced into the next round, 12 teams have been confirmed for the T20 World Cup 2026. The teams to secure qualification before the regional qualifiers are hosts India and Sri Lanka, and seven teams from the Super 8s of the T20 World Cup 2024 — Australia, England, Bangladesh, USA, Afghanistan, South Africa and West Indies. No gas loadshedding during Eidul Adha

KARACHI: The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has announced that there will be no gas loadshedding in Sindh, including Karachi, during Eidul Adha days (June 15 to 18), effective midnight today, ARY News reported on Sunday. According to a statement, the gas supply will remain uninterrupted during the Eid holidays, bringing relief to the citizens. However, the company has clarified that the regular gas loadshedding schedule will resume from June 19. Pakistan will celebrate Eidul Adha on June 17 after the Zil Hajj moon was sighted on June 7. Samar Khan becomes first Pakistani to summit Europe’s highest peak

In a historic achievement, Pakistani climber Samar Khan successfully scaled Mount Elbrus, the highest peak in Europe, and descended the peak by snowboarding. Hailing from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Dir district, Samar becomes the first Pakistani to reach the summit of Mount Elbrus, standing tall at 5,642 meters in Russia. With the support of the Frontier Corps North, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Khan accomplished this remarkable feat and proudly hoisted the Pakistani flag on the summit. “I’m pleased to announce that I have successfully climbed Europe’s highest peak, Mt.
