Indian actor Vivian Dsena confirms converting to Islam; ‘I find peace in praying’

Indian television actor, Vivian Dsena, best known for the vampire series ‘Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani’, confirms converting to Islam back in 2019.

There was a lot of buzz around the religion and marriage of the actor ever since he distanced himself from the spotlight. Speaking to an Indian tabloid recently, Vivian Dsena cleared the air and confirmed that he embraced Islam in Ramadan of 2019.

“Nothing much has changed in my life. I was born Christian, and I follow Islam now,” Dsena told the interviewer. “I find a lot of peace and solace in praying five times a day. So, here I put all the unsought speculations to rest.”

Moreover, he confirmed his marriage to Nouran Aly and disclosed being a father to a four-month-old daughter.

“Yes, I am married and have a four-month-old daughter. What’s the big deal about it, and how is this anyone’s concern?” the celebrity questioned. “We would have announced the news of my marriage and the arrival of my daughter, but when I thought the time was right, I tied the knot with Nouran in an intimate ceremony in Egypt around a year ago.”

“I have always maintained that I want to keep my personal and professional lives separate. I don’t want my family in the limelight, and that’s something even Nouran doesn’t wish to be put through. I am extremely protective of my family,” Dsena stated.

About embracing fatherhood, the actor said that it is a wonderful feeling and a dream come true for him. “I feel on top of the world each time I hold my baby in my arms. What more could I have asked for?” he gushed.

The couple has named their daughter Layan Vivian Dsena.

Meanwhile, on the work front, he was last seen in the TV serial ‘Sirf Tum’.
