SWAT: Condemnations pour in across the country following the twin bomb blasts inside a Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) police station in Swat’s Kabal town, ARY News reported on Tuesday.

Reacting over the bomb blast inside the police line mosque in Peshawar, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned the suicide attack on CTD police station in Swat. He said the nation is deeply grieved over the martyrdom of police officials.

PTI chairman Imran Khan took to Twitter and condemned the bomb blast. He expressed his condolences to the families of the victims of the blast at the Kabal police station in Swat.

Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah condemned the bombing incident and expressed sorrow over the loss of precious lives. He said that the sacrifices of the martyrs will not be forgotten and the menace of terrorism will be uprooted.

Earlier, at least 17 people were martyred including 12 policemen and 70 others including a lady police official sustained injuries in twin bomb blasts inside a Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) police station in Swat’s Kabal town.

Emergency was imposed in all hospitals and rescue teams also reached the site and wounded persons were shifted to a local hospital. The building of the police station was completely destroyed in the incident.
