Weeks after marrying Muhammad Rashid, A-list film and TV actor Neelam Muneer Khan breaks her silence on quitting the showbiz industry, to focus on her personal life.

Newly married showbiz star Neelam Muneer turned to her Instagram handle on Thursday night to dismiss the reports regarding her quitting the entertainment industry and clarified that she is not giving up on her acting career.

In a statement on her Instagram stories, Khan noted, “There are too many rumours going around regarding me. Therefore I thought I should clarify and give rest to all this misinformation.”

“Yes I have gotten married and NO I’m not leaving showbiz,” Khan confirmed. “Acting is my passion and how can I leave something which I love so much,” she added and concluded her note, sending good wishes to her fans.Newlywed Neelam Muneer set to bid farewell to showbiz?

For the unversed, Neelam Muneer Khan tied the knot with Muhammad Rashid, reportedly earlier this year, when she shared the first pictures with her other half, from their intimate nikah ceremony in Dubai.

Transport Canada declares Pakistan’s aviation security satisfactory

KARACHI: In a major development, the security delegation from Transport Canada on Wednesday completed the security audit of Jinnah International Airport, ARY News reported. According to Airports Security Force (ASF), the team conducted thorough inspection of the security arrangements in place at the airport and found them satisfactory. During the audit, the ASF team comprising National Inspectors gave a briefing to the Transport Canada team. The assessment team was given briefing on security deployment, entry control, screening, issuance of passes and addressing emergency situations. The Transport Canada team commended the efforts of the ASF for taking additional measures to ensure the safety of the Pakistan International Airlines’ (PIA) direct flights to Canada. Moderate earthquake jolts Islamabad, parts of KP

ISLAMABAD: Earthquake tremors of jolted several parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and capital city of Islamabad on Wednesday morning, ARY News reported. The National Seismic Monitoring Centre reported 4.7 magnitude earthquake with 98 kilometers depth and epicenter in southeastern Afghanistan. Moderate intensity earthquake tremors reported in Peshawar, Mardan, Nowshera, Swat and adjoining region in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Tremors were also reported in Malakand, Lower Dir, Mansehra districts and Hazara division in KP. According to reports tremors also felt in North and South Waziristan districts. No casualties are damages yet reported in the quake. Earlier on June 02 an earthquake with 4.8 magnitude jolted Swat and adjoining areas in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The quake’s epicenter was Tajikistan border, at the depth of 195 kilometers. However, no loss of life or damage to property reported from the area.
